- Steel wire/steel strip armor : mainly used in direct burial and other applications, providing mechanical protection and compressive strength.
- Inner sheath (lining) : A layer inside or outside the armor layer that serves as a padding layer, moisture protection and fixation layer. The material is usually PVC or PE.
- Filler layer and wrapping tape : Used to fill the gaps between the cores of multi-core cables during cabling, making the cable structure round and stable. Non-hygroscopic materials (such as polypropylene rope) and non-woven fabric wrapping tape are usually used.
- Outer sheath : The outermost layer of protection . Made of PVC, PE, or low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant materials (WDZ), etc.
